The Faculty Summit encourages innovators in the use of technology for teaching and learning to convene for an afternoon of discussion and information sharing. After opening remarks from Rob Clark, Provost and Senior Vice President for Research and David Lewis, Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer, participants will have the opportunity to learn more from recipients of the Educational IT Governance Committee Innovation Grants; faculty employing the AEFIS solution to assist with assessment, evaluation and accreditation work; and faculty demonstrating innovative uses of multiple technologies in various disciplines. Poster sessions, networking opportunities, and information tables will be available throughout the afternoon in addition to 30-minute concurrent sessions offered at 1:30, 2:15 and 3:00. The summit will conclude with the hosts moderating an open discussion on the future of teaching and learning with technology.
