More about Meliora Weekend

1970
Gerald Itkin e-mailed in December: “I have retired from my job as deputy county attorney in Portland, Ore. I have agreed to return for one year to my old job in the Key West prosecutor’s office beginning January 12. It will be both an adventure for me and a challenge for Joan. She is remaining here in Portland to handle her tax practice and the completion of our Bend, Ore., vacation home we are currently building, and to take care of our home and our cats. We will vacation and visit back and forth as much as possible. Therefore, I am postponing all of the group travel trips I have in the works into 2005, including my third trip to Africa to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro and my fourth trip to bicycle Ireland. When I return to Portland in a year, I will resume practicing there as a consultant. I can be reached at my e-mail address: traveler (at) itkin (dot) net. My cell phone remains the same: (503) 754-4701. My work phone in Key West is (305) 292-3400. I hope some of my old Rochester friends will visit while I am back in Key West.” . . .
