Safety Training
URnano faculty and staff enforce all means necessary to keep the laboratory clean and safe for all users. Common sense is a good policy, but rules cannot cover all types of situations. Consult with a staff member if regulations do not seem to apply to a situation.
It is the responsibility of all URnano users to act professionally, courteously, and safely in the facility. Violations of safety regulations and policies will result in remedial action and/or a loss of privileges.
OSHA and UR-EH&S require the University of Rochester to properly train and educate laboratory users.
