Which staff member influenced you the most?

Track coach, Sam Albert. There were many semesters that my academic schedule didn't align with the group practice times and he would find a time that worked with my schedule to get practice in (even if it meant 6 a.m. for both of us).

What's your most memorable Rochester hangout?

ITS (now known as iZone) or 500m old stacks - I spent a lot of time in the library!

The Garbage Plate at Nick Tahou Hots or wings at The Distillery?

Neither - Dogtown plates

What was your favorite Rochester experience?

The track team had a tradition that every time the track bus would pull into campus from an away meet, we would sing "The Genesee" and this was always a highlight of our trips. Everyone knew the words to our alma mater and everyone enthusiastically sang, no matter how the day and meet had gone.

Why did you choose to study at the University of Rochester?

The Rochester curriculum and the ability to customize it to fit my interests, especially as an engineer; the ability to participate in D3 athletics and still find balance with course work; the plethora of activities to get involved in and meet new people; and the diversity of the student body, widening my horizons to different cultures, perspectives and traditions.
