- Annual gifts helped with the awarding of $1.8M in scholarships to 150 students. Every gift that supports students puts a nursing education within reach for talented students, regardless of their financial circumstances.
- Gifts also provided faculty members with funding for important pilot studies and research support services. These are crucial for attracting larger, federally funded grants and foundation grants, and expanding the School’s research efforts.
- Two new programs were unveiled: a master’s in Nursing Education Program, to meet the growing demand for exceptional nurse educators, and an online Care Manager Education Program that defines and standardizes the role and responsibilities of care managers in this new health care delivery system.
