Hello Yellowjackets,
Having watched graduating classes come and go, I’ve noticed a common theme among students who make the most of their time at URochester: they find ways to connect with our community, explore their interests and opportunities, and take advantage of resources that support their growth and well-being.
Whether you’re joining us for the first time or preparing for another semester, I’m thrilled to welcome you to the hive! Your journey ahead is full of possibilities, and the Office of the Dean of Students is here to support you every step of the way, offering resources and guidance as you navigate your experience.
I invite you to seek out the many ways you can get involved on campus and the opportunities available through University Student Life. Finding your people may come from joining a student organization, attending a campus event, or trying something new you’ve been curious about.
Lastly, we each play a role in creating a positive and welcoming environment, and I encourage you to take pride in that responsibility. Please familiarize yourself with the Standards of Student Conduct and complete any required training in Blackboard. Along with our Meliora values, these resources help shape an inclusive and safe community.
