mRoc Team
The Managing Rochester’s Open Campus (mRoc) Team supports the University of Rochester's DVPP policy providing support to the students, staff, and/or faculty who are holding the event. Membership within the mRoc Team is open to all faculty and staff in good standing with the University of Rochester. To be a part of the mRoc Team faculty and staff partake in a three-hour training session where they learn more about the following:
- The DVPP policy and mRoc operations provided by University Student Life Risk Management
- The 1st Amendment and Free Speech on campus provided by The Office of Counsel
- Crowd Management training provided by Environmental Health and Safety
- De-escalation training provided by the Department of Public Safety
