Declaring a Double Major

Double major refers to majoring in two areas, both of which are part of the same bachelor of arts (BA) degree. Double degree refers to majoring in two areas leading to two separate degrees such as a bachelor of arts and a bachelor of science (BS), or some other combination of bachelor's degrees. (Because of the liberal arts nature of the degree, two BA degrees are never awarded.)
