Declaring a Minor
Students have the option of declaring one or more minors. To begin, they should consult the department’s website for an understanding of the courses needed to complete a minor, and discuss their plans with the authorized faculty member in the department.
Once the advisor has approved the plan, students can submit the online major/minor declaration form. Students should carefully review the policies concerning overlaps between majors and minors. Students cannot declare a minor until they have an officially declared major.
Students must meet all department and school requirements for the minor.
