At Rochester:

• Four year letter winner at cross country and indoor and outdoor track
• Senior year, placed 10th in 10,000 meter at NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships
• Took 2nd place in the 10k at the NYSCTC Outdoor Track and Field Championships
• Placed 1st in the 3,000 meter run at RPI Indoor Track Invitational
• Captain of the cross country team as a senior
• Placed 5th overall in 1980 NYSCTC Championships
• Took 3rd overall in 1980 NCAA Division III Regional Qualifier
• Earned 32nd overall in 1980 NCAA Division III National Championships

Post-Graduate:

• Hired by Saturday Night Live in 2001 as a television comedy writer
• Head writer for “Weekend Update”
• Won an Emmy Award in 2002
• Received a Peabody Award in 2009, and also three Writer’s Guild Awards
