At Rochester:

  • Played freshman basketball in 1940-41, then varsity ball for two seasons
  • Career interrupted for military service, 1943-45
  • Reentered the University and played in 1946-47

Post-Graduate:

  • Joined the East Rochester Public Schools System in 1948, the beginning of a 35-year career in public education
  • Taught English and Social Studies on the high school level, 1948-62
  • Junior high school Guidance Counselor, 1963-83
  • One year (1958) as Director of Adult Education
  • Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach, 1948-49
  • Varsity Coach, 1949-57-Team won a Section V championship in 1950 and six Monroe County titles
  • Junior Varsity Coach, 1963-71
  • Named Counselor of the Year by the New York School Counselor Association, 1983
  • Elected to the Geneva Hall of Fame in 1990 and to the East Rochester Hall of Fame in 1994
  • Passed away on May 20, 1989
