• Lettered in basketball for three seasons and graduated as the school's career scoring leader
• Won the Rufus Hedges Trophy twice, in 1961, and 1962
• President, Phi Epsilon Pi
• President, Kappa Nu
• Member of the Hellenic Council
• Earned a B.A. degree in History in 1962

Post-Graduate:

• Graduated from the New York University School of Law in 1965
• Private law practice in New York City, 1965-71
• Joined the Legal Aid Society of Nassau County in 1971 where he has defended over 125 major felony cases
• He is an expert lecturer on criminal trial practice for the Nassau County Bar Association Academy of Law
