  • Arrived at the University as a member of the U.S. Navy V-12 program in July, 1943
  • Played varsity football under Dud DeGroot in 1943 and Elmer Burnham in 1944
  • Served on active duty in the South Pacific, 1945-46
  • Returned to the University to complete his B.S. degree in mechanical engineering
  • Lettered in football in 1946, 1947, and 1948
  • Co-captain in 1947
  • New York All-State football, University Division, 1947
  • Graduated from the University in 1949

Post-Graduate:

  • Had a 34 year business career with Taylor Instrument Co.
  • Retired as Director of International Operations in 1983
  • Joined Bristol Babcock, Inc. of Waterbury, CT as Vice President of Marketing (three years), followed by eight years as Director of Sales and Marketing for Autodynamics, Inc. of Freehold, NJ
  • Retired to North Carolina in 1993
  • Passed away in 2011
