At Rochester:

  • Explosive tailback known as the “Speed Gear” for the Yellowjacket ground attack in football
  • Ran into the UR record books with rushing yards in a season (800 yards) in three years
  • Set the record for highest average rushing yards per game (80.7 yards) and rushing yards in a career (2,825 yards), as well as 19 touchdowns
  • 1991 & 1992 All-UAA and 1992 UAA Offensive Player of the Year
  • Led the 1993 team as a captain to UR record 4-0, UAA title and 2,497 yards gained in a season
  • Rushed for 181 yards in single game as a freshman, with 6.8 yards/carry
  • Graduated with a BA in political science

Post-Graduate:

  • Coached football at several northeastern DI & DIII programs (Hobart, Columbia, Lehigh, Holy Cross, Delaware and The Citadel)
  • NFL Football coach with NY Giants (1999) and Philadelphia Eagles (2001)
  • Joined Widener University as Head Coach in 2010.  Widener was 9-2 in 2011, and led the US in points scored per game (47.09 points).   They were also the 2011 ECAC South Atlantic Bowl Champions.
  • Married to Ada, father of four children -- Kayla, Jaylen, Alina and Jacob.
