At Rochester:

  • Four-year starter and four-year letter winner
  • Three-time all-conference in Upstate Collegiate Athletic Association
  • Two-time All-Region honoree by the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (1999 and 2000)
  • Was a two-time captain 1999-00
  • Rochester’s first All-American in women’s lacrosse in 2000
  • Became the first defender to break into all-time top 10 for career goals
  • In 2000, she earned Athlete of the Week, won the UR Women’s Scholar Athlete Award, and won the UR Garnish Scholar Award 

Post Graduate:

  • Got her Ph.D. in Bioengineering at the University of Washington in 2007. After that, she began her Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Washington, becoming an expert in stem cell biology and heart regeneration research.  
  • Has been an Assistant Professor of Engineering and Medical Sciences at Brown University, focusing on cardiovascular regenerative engineering
  • Played with the Seattle Women’s Lacrosse Team from 2001 to 2013 and coached the University of Washington Women’s Lacrosse Club Team taking them to the National Tournament in 2005
  • Has been on the Washington’s Women’s Lacrosse Umpire Board since 2001
