  • Starting halfback and leading rusher as a freshman (1952) on the University's first undefeated football team
  • Started on both offense and defense over the next three years
  • Elected captain senior year
  • Little All-America Honorable Mention in 1955
  • Four letters for baseball
  • Starting third baseman freshman year
  • Played third, short, and pitched over the next three seasons
  • First recipient of the Louis Alexander Alumni Award (1956)
  • Earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and commissioned Second Lieutenant, USAF, 1956

Post-Graduate:

  • Active duty USAF-Air refueling flight crew
  • Design Engineer at General Dynamics Corporation
  • Senior Marketing Representative and Account Executive for IBM Corporation, 1961-90
  • Director of Computer Integrated Manufacturing Program, Monroe Community College, 1990-93
