  • University Athletic Association (UAA) hammer throw title in 1999, and was 5-time All-UAA honoree
  • Two-time New York State Collegiate Track Conference (NYSCTC) runner-up
  • Finished 6th at the 1999 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the hammer throw, earning All-America status
  • Two-time UAA All-Academic
  • Earned degree from Rochester in Biochemistry

Post-Graduate:

  • Earned Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular and Cellular Biology at Cornell
  • Served as post-doctoral researcher at the University of Wisconsin-Madison
  • Fellowship for clinical chemistry at Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN)
  • Mayo Clinic board-certified clinical chemist and laboratory director
  • Associate Professor in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology
  • Married to husband, Justin, and has two children, Gemma and Zach
