  • Student Representative on Student-Faculty Athletic Council, 1961-62
  • President of Psi Upsilon
  • Sports Editor of Interpres, 1961-62
  • Earned a B.A. in History/English, 1962

Post-Graduate:

  • Played professional baseball in the New York Yankees farm system in North Carolina for one season and parts of two seasons in the Quebec Proncial League
  • Served in the U.S. Navy as a pilot, flying the P-3 Orion for eight years, including two tours of duty in Vietnam
  • American Airlines Pilot for 22 years, recently flying Boeing 757/767s, both domestically and internationally
  • Coached youth soccer and baseball for several years
