  • Captained the basketball team in 1915-16


  • President, and Director of the Lawyer's Cooperative Publishing Company in 1948-60 and served that organization for 43 years
  • Former Chairman of the Board of Central Trust Company
  • Member, Board of Trustees of RIT, Rochester General Hospital, Rochester Friendly Home, Rochester Chamber of Commerce, and Preservation Society
  • Selected to the National Basketball Hall of Fame Veterans Division in Springfield, MA
  • Received awards from the Stadium Club of Rochester, the Outstanding Trustee Award from RIT, the National Distinguished Eagle Scout Award, and the Nathaniel Rochester Society Award
  • Served on the University's Board of Trustees from 1953-72
  • President of the Alumni Association from 1942-43
  • Leader in every fund drive
  • Passed away on July 3, 1986
