At Rochester:

  • Record-setting middle-distance runner in track and field
  • Won gold medals at the New York State Championships in three individual events-440 - three times, 880 - twice, 1000 - once; and two relay events-4440, mile - three times
  • Set state meet records in the 440 individually and the mile relay
  • Co-captain of the 1966 team
  • Upon graduation, he held 10 school and records and 3 state records
  • Won the Marty McDonagh Trophy as the highest individual point scorer at the 1964 State Championships
  • First Rochester runner to represent the United States at the Maccabiah Games in Tel Aviv, Israel (where he placed fourth)
  • Graduated from the University with an A.B. in General Science in 1966

Post-Graduate:

  • Earned his M.D. from the SUNY Upstate Medical Center in 1970
  • Residency at the University of Michigan, 1973-76; Chief Resident, 1976
  • Board certified for the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in 1977
  • Medical Director for Rehabilitation Services at Chelsea Community Hospital, 1976-present
  • Vice President for Medical Affairs at Chelsea Community Hospital since 1994
