Maureen "Molly" Hayes

At Rochester:

  • Played with two extremely successful teams in the early 80s-soccer and basketball
  • Co-captain of the soccer team in 1982 and 1983
  • Named Second Team All-American by National Soccer Coaches Association of America in 1982
  • First Team All-Northeast Region in 1982
  • Second team All State at NYS Tournament in 1983
  • Still the career goalscoring leader here at the University
  • Played basketball from 1980-83
  • Helped Rochester to a 23-9 record in her junior year (1981-82) and a quarterfinal berth in EAIAW Division III National Tournament
  • Received "Outstanding Freshman Athlete of the Year" award in 1980
  • Presented with the Merle Spurrier Award in 1984
  • Elected to Keidaeans in 1983-84
  • Received dual baccalaureate degrees in Psychology and Health & Society in 1984

Post-Graduate:

  • Worked 15 years in University of Rochester's Office of Admissions
  • Currently Special Events Manager in the Office of College Advancement at the University
