• All-America honors in the 1,500 meter run at 1983 NCAA Division III championships with then-school record of 3:47.59
• Set or held school records in the 1,500 on three different occasions
• Won two individual conference titles in the 1,500 and ran at four NCAA cross country championships

• Dean's List last three years at the University

• Co-recipient of Louis Alexander Award from Department of Sports and Recreation
