  • Earned a B.S. in mechanical and aerospace sciences in 1971

  • Earned an M.S. in mechanical and aerospace sciences in 1973
  • Received an M.S. in optics in 1986
  • Joined the Eastman Kodak Company in 1973, rising to the position of senior research associate
  • In his time with Kodak, he has delivered 6 technical papers in the field of digital imaging and he has 10 patents in the field of digital imaging
