  • He was a National Intercollegiate Championship Golfer
  • "Home" course was Oak Hill Country Club
  • Shota record sub-par 69 against Hamilton
  • Teamed with Dave Mullen, Gerry Liebel and Bill Pulsifer to win several best-ball matches
  • Two-year starter for the basketball team
  • Senior co-captain of the basketball team with Neil Alexander
  • Hit 7 out of 9 field goals in a game against Alfred, finishing with a game high of 16 points
  • Graduated with a BA in economics

Post-Graduate:

  • Worked in family business, Electrotype & Engraving Co., which was founded by his great-grandfather
  • Married Margaret Luke Lennox
  • Father of Charles, Tracy, Jeffrey, James III, Tanya (UR '83), and Fred
  • Passed away in 2004
