At Rochester:

  • Exciting halfback in football as the "Big Play Maker #41”
  • Led the Yellowjackets in rushing and scoring as a junior, playing in only 4 games
  • Rushed for 492 yards and 4 touchdowns, passed for 25 yds and a touchdown, caught 4 passes for 67 yards and 2 more touchdowns
  • In the first half of a game versus rival Amherst, he rushed for 124 yards and a touchdown plus a 35-yard halfback pass for a touchdown, before being injured
  • On a UR team that defeated both Williams and Amherst
  • Twice-named to ECAC Weekly DIII All-Star teams
  • Set the UR record in an 84-yard Punt Return and 3 touchdowns as a sophomore
  • Was the1968 Most Improved offensive back
  • Was a senior captain and freshman team coach
  • Graduated with a BA in a dual major, English and history

Post-Graduate:

  • Earned his JD at SUNY Buffalo Law School in 1974
  • Appointed as a Family Court Hearing Examiner at 29 years old
  • Served on the Appellate Grievance Committee (6 years)
  • Elected as a County Legislator (4 years)
  • Appointed as a Family Court Judge & Judicial Hearing Officer
  • Active in Mohawk Valley UR Alumni Committee
  • Married to Coco and father of Erin (UR '03), Jessica and Libby (UR '10)
