At Rochester:

  • Superb basketball career on the River Campus, showcasing his ability to score
  • Teamed with John Donohue '51 as a prolific scoring combination, first at Brighton High School, then on the River Campus
  • Lettered in four varsity sports
  • Attended the U.S. Military Academy before transferring to Rochester
  • Graduated from the University with a degree in Economics in 1949

Post-Graduate:

  • Served on active duty with the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of the Korean War
  • Former Vice President of Ontario Metal Supply, Chairman of Ontario, Inc., a real estate and gas and oil holding company
  • President of Stever-Locke Industries from 1988 until his passing in 1993
  • Former Trustee of First National Bank of Rochester and former Chairman of the Executive Committee at Central Trust Co.
  • Member of the Trustees Council at the University, Chairman of the Board of Managers at Strong Memorial Hospital, and a Director of the Memorial Art Gallery
