  • Named NCAA Freshman of the Year (all divisions) in 1985

  • All-University Athletic Association three times
  • Two-time NSCAA All-Region
  • First Team NSCAA All-American as a senior as well as an Academic All-American
  • Nominated for Local College Sportswoman of the Year in 1989
  • Received the Merle Spurrier Award and the Lyle "Spike" Garnish Scholar Award
  • Graduated from the University with a degree in Biology in 1989

Post-Graduate:

  • Earned her D.D.S. from SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 1993
  • Earned Certificate of General Practice Residency from Denver (CO) Health Medical Center in 1994 from The Children's Hospital of Denver for a residency in pediatric dentistry in 1997
  • Worked as a general dentist in Thornton, CO from 1994-95
  • Currently Partner/Pediatric Dentist at Young Dentistry for Children, L.L.C. in Westminster, CO and Lousville, CO
  • Member of the Board of Directors for Metro Denver Dental Society
