'81

At Rochester:

  • An outstanding track and field performer for the Yellowjackets who earned All-America honors four different times
  • As a freshman, he finished sixth in the 110 high hurdles
  • As a junior, he was sixth in the decathlon
  • By senior year, he was second in the decathlon and the 400 intermediate hurdles
  • Still holds three indoor hurdle records, the indoor 400 meter mark, the indoor distance relay record, two outdoor hurdle marks, and the decathlon record at Rochester
  • Graduated with a baccalaureate degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1981

Post-Graduate:

  • Joined General Dynamics, Electric Boat Division in Groton, CT as a mechanical engineer after graduation
  • Left in 1985 to join Gunther International in Mystic, CT as a project engineer
  • Now holds the title of Director of Field Service for Gunther which has products installed throughout the United States, Canada, and Japan
