At Rochester:

  • Set school record for RBIs in a game with nine against St. Lawrence in 1951

Post-Graduate:

  • After graduation, was drafted into the U.S. Army where he played both basketball and baseball
  • After being discharged from the Army, returned to UR for graduate studies and coached one year of freshman basketball
  • Obtained a law degree from Georgetown Law School in 1959 and became a member of the D.C. and Virginia Bars and practiced intellectual property law until retiring in 2001
  • During that time served as chairman of the Patent, Trademark, and Copyright section of the D.C. Bar, president of the Washington Patent Lawyers Club, and member of the Board of Directors of the D.C. Bar Association
