At Rochester:

  • Had three letters in both football and baseball
  • Starting quarterback on 1970-1971 team which went 8-1 and was nationally ranked
  • Winner of Lou Alexander Award in 1971, presented to the most outstanding student athlete and Spike Garnish award for MVP in baseball
  • Won MVP award for football backfield in 1970
  • Captain of 1971 baseball team
  • Pitched no-hit shutout that year against Niagara
  • Earned a B.S. in electrical engineering

Post-Graduate:

  • Started at General Electric in 1971 and held several management positions in GE Motors for 15 years
  • In 1995, became General Manager Gas Turbine Operation in Greenville, SC
