At Rochester:

  • Played football for three varsity seasons and one freshman season
  • Enjoyed undefeated years in freshman football and with the 1958 (8-0) varsity team as a junior
  • Teams lost four games in four years, three his sophomore season
  • All players on the 1958 team were honored with Backfield or Outstanding Lineman awards
  • Named Outstanding Lineman in 1959
  • Had 33 consecutive shut-out innings as a relief pitcher for Lou Alexander as a sophomore

Post-Graduate:

  • Retired in December of 2002 as Plant Manager for Dupont Nylon Facility in Chattanooga, TN
  • Involved with many community activities: Hospital Boards, Chamber of Commerce, Education Foundation, Sheltered Workshop Boards
