Linda Deck is director of the Idaho Museum of Natural History at Idaho State University. . . . Russell DiGate ’87 (PhD) was named dean of the first college of pharmacy established in North America, the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Previously, he was professor and associate dean for research and graduate education at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. . . . Patrick Ryan is president and CEO of PolyMedica Corp. in Woburn, Mass. . . . Rudolph Tanzi was the guest speaker at last November’s Brian R. Ott, M.D., Research Symposium on Alzheimer’s Disease in Providence, R.I. Rudolph is professor of neurology at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital.

Brian Roseboro, the U.S. Treasury Department’s undersecretary for domestic finance, has stepped down. Brian says he wished to return to his family in Montclair, N.J.

1982
Stephen Minarik, chair of the Monroe County Republican Party for 13 years, was elected chair of the New York Republican State Committee. . . . Barbara Olshansky, deputy director for litigation and organizing at the Center for Constitutional Rights, was the lead attorney in the U.S. Supreme Court case that allowed nearly 600 detainees at Guantanamo Bay naval base in Cuba to challenge their detentions. Last October, she was featured at the Mel Goldberg Symposium on Justice in St. Paul, Minn. . . . Dan Smolnik writes that he has published two articles. His piece on the U.S.ÐJapan tax treaty was featured in the September 2004 issue of Tax Planning International. He also wrote the first international treatment of the new income deposit security. Noah Beerman was named executive vice president and chief business officer of Indevus Pharmaceuticals. . . . Ed Tato is the author of the book of poems True Stories from la Cosa Nostra.

1985
Stephen De Luca earned his doctorate in juridical science from Tulane University in 2003 and will publish his dissertation, Cultural Protectionism in International Trade. Stephen lives in New York City. . . . Lee Maxey is chief learning officer at Pathlore Software in Columbus, Ohio. . . . Stephen Morrell is vice president of financial planning and analysis at US Airways. Previously, he was managing director of the treasury and assistant treasurer with the company.

Bill Graff was hired by the Rochester Business Alliance to help local companies increase their international business. Bill lives in Honeoye Falls, N.Y. . . . Judith Reinsdorf is vice president, general counsel, and corporate secretary of C. R. Bard Inc. Previously, she was vice president and corporate secretary of Tyco International.

Ellen Camfield was promoted from adjunct to assistant professor of psychology at Monroe Community College in Rochester.

1989
Richard Goss is director of environmental affairs at the Electronic Industries Alliance. . . . John Horn, a litigation associate with the Buffalo office of Harter, Secrest & Emery, was appointed to the board of trustees of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. . . . John LaCarte ’90S (MBA) is president of his family’s business, Model Cleaners, Uniforms and Apparel, based in Charleroi, Pa.
