Erik Rausch ’97W (MS) writes, “I have left my position as director of university development programs at the University of California–San Francisco for the Stanford University Medical Center, where I am senior director of development for the Cancer Center and Cancer/Stem Cell Institute.”

1991
Jewelry artist Jennifer Ingalls Bowie owns and operates The Picklepot, a contemporary crafts gallery in Salem, Mass. . . . Elizabeth Dunn writes, “I just published my third book, Privatizing Poland. I’m enjoying being an assistant professor of a geography and international affairs at the University of Colorado–Boulder and being a mom to 1-year-old Aaron.” . . . Eric Moses is vice president of media and public affairs at the public relations firm Hill & Knowlton in Los Angeles. He is the former director of communications for the Los Angeles City Attorney’s office and a former assistant deputy mayor. . . . U.S. Naval Reserve Officer Richard Sanford was promoted to the rank of lieutenant commander last September. His mother and his wife pinned his new insignia on his uniform. Richard lives in New York City, where he is a forensic scientist in the toxicology department for the Chief Medical Examiner. . . . Alexandra Sharnoff and Benjamin Slade were married on October 10. Alix is a research analyst for the American Institutes for Research, and Ben is an independent software consultant. . . . Ivy Stein and her partner, Laura White, announce the birth of their twin boys, Logan Alexander and Seth Aaron, on July 15. They join their older brother, Foster, who turned 3 on September 2. They write, “Both boys are doing great, but we’re now experts on sleep deprivation!” Ivy and Laura are social workers in San Diego. . . . Laurie Whisler and her husband, Tom Matkov, announce the birth of their first child, August William (Gus), on May 19. They live in Lake Bluff, Ill. Tom is a urologist in Wisconsin; Laurie has put her ear, nose, and throat practice on hold to stay home with Gus.

Dahari Brooks ’01M (Res) is a spine surgeon at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. He also is assistant professor of orthopedics and rehabilitation at the UMass Medical School. . . . Mary Ellen Evolo and Milton Hsu were married on September 25 in New Orleans. Mary Ellen is a cosmetic and restorative dentist, and Milton is a stock analyst at Bear, Stearns & Company, in Manhattan. . . . J. Eric Firnstein and Molly Clough were married on September 27 in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada. Eric is a human resources representative and accounting manager at the New York Power Authority, and Molly is an attorney with Preston Carlisle. They live in Massena, N.Y. . . . Jeff Reznick is the author of Healing the Nation: Soldiers and the Culture of Caregiving in Britain during the Great War.

Samuel Frank ’01M (Res) is a neurologist at Boston Medical Center and assistant professor of neurology at Boston University School of Medicine. He was an instructor of neurology at Rochester’s School of Medicine. . . . Emily Filler Kahn has joined the Portland, Maine, law firm of Verrill Dana as an associate in the business law department. . . . Linda Mathison-Ezieme ’98M (MD) sends writes, “My husband, Jonah Ezieme, and I announce the birth of our daughter, Jessica Nwadiri. I am a clinical instructor in obstetrics and gynecology at Louisiana State University in New Orleans.” . . . Physiatrist Renée Melfi has joined Orthopaedic Associates of Central New York in Syracuse. She is one of only a dozen physiatrists practicing in central New York. . . . Kenneth Suzan presented “Trademark Law and the Internet: How to Avoid Trouble Before It Starts” at the New York State Bar Association’s Continuing Legal Education seminar on intellectual property last October. Kenneth is an attorney with Hodgson Russ in Buffalo.

1994
Philip Kusnetz and Janine Carrier were married in July. Adam Boardman attended the wedding. . . . Laurie Koch Renzulli writes, “I am proud to announce the arrival of my little girl, Samantha London, on August 15. I met my husband, Scott, during my junior year abroad (hence her middle name). We live in Stamford, Conn. I am an account executive for Oxford Health Plans in New York City.”

1995
Andrew Hopkins ’96S (MBA) and Cynthia Rapp ’96, ’97 (MS) were married on May 15. Allen Krusenstjerna ’91 (MS), Michael ’94 and Jennifer Davis Wehle ’94, Frank and Sue Franzino, Jonathan Brimfield ’94, Rebecca Haefele ’95 (MS), Arthur ’96 and Jennifer DeForest Meconi ’96, Connie Brais ’96N, Rob ’00M (MD) and Char Bergerson Witmer ’96, ’00M (MD), and Dave ’96 and Kristin Kinne Kale ’96 attended. . . . Jared Lewis and Mindy Seely were married on September 12 in Wilton, Conn. Attending were Amber Scott, Carrie and Jon-Eric Anderson, Mary and Gavin Noble, Damien Shields, and Hadley and Walter Horner. “All of the Rochester graduates played soccer from 1991 to 1994,” Amber writes. . . . Jenna Brandwein Peters and her husband, Joe, announce the birth of their twins, son Devin Jacob and daughter Avery Rose, on November 20, 2003. They live in Holmdel, N.J. . . . Mitch Riesenberger and Jennifer Mitchell were married on August 21 in the White Mountains in New Hampshire. Josh Shapiro was elected to the Pennsylvania State House of Representatives last fall.

Rachel Dickler Coker and her husband, Eric, announce the birth of their first child, Sophie Jean, on June 27. Rachel and Eric are editors at the Press & Sun-Bulletin newspaper in Binghamton, N.Y. . . . Matt Douglas writes, “My wonderful wife, Jessica Weir Douglas ’98, along with our friends Alex and Joahnna Connolly Bell ’98, threw me a fantastic surprise 30th birthday party, and a bunch of my close friends from Rochester were part of the celebration. Timothy Dolgos and Lori Burnett were married on July 24 in Penfield, N.Y. Timothy is a biology teacher and junior varsity football coach at Rush-Henrietta (N.Y.) High School, and Lori is a chemistry and biology teacher at Spencerport (N.Y.) High School. . . . Brett Dreyer (see ’96). . . . Tara Kates and Bryan Burt were married on September 12. Tara is a clinical research associate at Confluent Surgical in Waltham, Mass., and Bryan is a general surgery resident at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. . . . Alicia Freeman Nordstrom is an assistant professor in the division of behavioral science, education, and business at College Misericordia in Dallas, Pa. . . . Keri Poissant and Michael Hotarek were married on July 17 in Lake Placid, N.Y. Keri is a counselor at Wilson Middle School in Natick, Mass., and Michael is a commercial real estate broker with Atlantic Retail Properties in Boston. They live in Newton, Mass.

1998
Joahnna Connolly Bell (see ’96). . . . Jeremy Dabbeekah and Cara Martino were married on October 22 in Buffalo. Jeremy is pursuing a doctorate in biochemistry at the University at Buffalo, and Cara is a dietary aide at Sheridan Manor Nursing Home. They live in Tonawanda, N.Y. . . . Jessica Weir Douglas (see ’96). . . . Sraddha Prativadi Helfrich, a fourth-year student at the University of Minnesota Medical School, was selected as a member of the school’s Gold Humanism Honor Society, which recognizes future physicians who demonstrate compassion and community service. Sraddha planned to spend winter and spring taking part in monthlong rotations in Bangladesh and India, as well as pursuing certification in advanced wilderness life support at the University of Utah. She will graduate in May. . . . Laura Silverman and Michael Liebling were married on August 17, 2003, in New Jersey. Laura received her doctorate in school-clinical child psychology last September and is now a school psychologist. Mike is a chiropractor. . . . Stacy Spector and Dave Gerstenfeld were married on July 4. Joey ’99, ’03M (MS) and Terina Swanson Chen ’99, ’04M (MD), Greta Gray, Brian Hyland, Karrie Goldstein, Liz Miller, Greg Carnes, Sara Rosensweig Schmidt, and Andi Jacobs Stannard attended the wedding. Stacy and Dave are both speech language pathologists. They live in Morganville, N.J.

Jim Capellupo writes, “My wife, Michele, and I announce the birth of our son, James Capellupo III, on August 18.” . . . Christina Kershaw writes, “I’m happy to announce that I married a wonderful guy, Simon Rule, on September 25 in Maine. In attendance were Autumn Fletcher Derby, Margie Siegel, Amanda Cronkhite, and Beth Slotman.” . . . Hannah Montague announces her engagement to Eric Choi. “We’re planning an August 2005 wedding,” she writes. “We live in Santa Barbara, Calif.” . . . Patrick Regan and Bernadette Fagan were married on October 25, 2003, in Brighton, N.Y. Patrick is a senior technical associate at the University’s Laboratory for Laser Energetics, and Bernadette is an administrator at Benjamin Franklin High School in Rochester.
