The new mural at the Sloan Performing Arts Center
resembles origami, the ancient art of paper folding
that also incorporates skills rooted in mathematics,
engineering, and science—all areas in which
Rochester excels.

During this busy holiday season, origami offers
an opportunity to practice mindfulness and
gratitude. Take a five-minute break to create this What made you smile today?
