        Thank you for your support!                     IRA Charitable Rollover
                                                        Normally, a distribution from your IRA is taxed as ordinary
                                                        income. However, you may be eligible to make a tax-free direct
                                                        gift of a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your IRA
                                                        to the University. A distribution made directly to the University
                                                        counts toward your required minimum distribution. Must be age
                                                        70 ½ or older at the time of the gift.

                                                        Bequests and Other Testamentary Gifts
                                                        A bequest is simple to accomplish and allows you to have a
                                                        future impact on the Department of Orthopaedics. A provision
                                                        in your will or living trust ensures that programs you care most
                                                        about are supported. You can also name the Department as a
                                                        beneficiary of retirement assets, life insurance, or investment
                                                        accounts.

                                                        Life Income Gifts
                                                        Fund a charitable gift annuity and enjoy a charitable deduction
                                                        today, and fixed income for life, for one or two beneficiaries.
                                                        Fund a charitable remainder unitrust and enjoy a charitable
                                                        deduction today and variable income for life, or a term of years,
                                                        for one or more beneficiaries.
