Study Abroad

Economic globalization means business has moved beyond traditional borders.

Today, having international and cross-cultural knowledge is a must for any business major. The flexibility of our business program means that you can experience the global aspect of the business world first-hand.

From London to Beijing, we can help you find a study abroad program that fulfills the requirements for your degree. Even if you don’t speak a second language, many study abroad programs offer courses in English.

Getting Started

Getting Credit

Contact a study abroad advisor for questions about transferring elective credit from abroad. For information about receiving major or minor credit or direct course equivalencies, please contact an advisor in the Undergraduate Business Program. Students requesting transfer credit for business courses (ACC, BUS, CIS, ENT, FIN, LAW, MKT, STR) should obtain the syllabus of the course they plan to take or have already taken elsewhere. We will then forward your request to the committee and/or appropriate instructor for consideration and share the outcome of their decision. The transfer approval process typically takes 3-5 business days. Please start this process early on - if you are able.

Once your Course Approval Form has been signed by an authorized department approver (an advisor in the Undergraduate Business Program), it will need to be returned to CCAS in Lattimore 312 or emailed to CCAS Records.
