Research

The Undergraduate Business Program is excited to offer a new business research program lab!

BUS 389: Business Research will be offered this spring 2022 semester with Professor Ron Schmidt, Monday & Wednesday from 10:25 AM - 11:40 AM.

BUS 389 Eligibility Requirements:

  • Declared BA or BS business major
  • Junior or senior class standing
  • Minimum 3.6 cumulative GPA (or at least 3.4 with instructor permission)
  • Completed ECON 207 and a statistics course required for the business major

The purpose of the business research course is to provide opportunities for exceptional undergraduate business majors who desire to undertake research that is relevant for executives. We interpret relevance broadly to allow research efforts that would span economics topics, public policy issues, and topics of interest within each of the functional areas of the business curriculum.
