Overview

The first part of your orientation is Rochester Ready, a self-paced online program designed to introduce you to University academics and student life ahead of your arrival to campus. Through videos, online modules, and virtual communications, we work to ensure that your transition to the University is as smooth as possible.

Part One

Checklist

Complete the new student checklist. This comprehensive list covers all the required forms and tasks you need to complete before arriving to campus in August. You can simply refer back to the checklist webpage regularly to make sure you're on top of your required tasks, or you can add the tasks to your own calendar using our customized calendar option.

Part Two: Attend webinars, watch resource videos, and complete the corresponding modules.

These live webinars, videos, and online modules will introduce you to University life and academics ahead of your first semester at URochester. View the list of webinars and videos, along with registration information and instructions for completing the required online modules.

Part Three

Advising

Connect with your academic advisor and register for your fall classes. As an incoming fall student, you will connect with your academic advisor and register for your first-semester courses ahead of your arrival to campus in August. View details about the advising process and timeline on the New Student Academic Guide website.
