Throughout this brochure, you will find highlights of the incredible impact created by the generosity of
                       George Eastman Circle members, who have designated their support to hundreds of available funds.
                           Highlighted totals represent all member pledge payments and outright gifts made between
                                            July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019.




                                                              THE COLLEGE


                                                             •   20 percent of undergraduates are first-generation college
                                                               students, thanks to financial aid and scholarship support.
                                                             •  Students have access to more than 120 courses in which
                                                               they can explore American Sign Language, positive
                                                               youth development, urban crime and justice, and water
                                                               use and conservation.

                                                             •  Diverse experiential learning opportunities are
                                                               available for all students. 96 percent participate in
                                                               internships, 77 percent are involved in undergraduate
                                                               research, 90 percent engage in one or more of the
                                                               250+ student organizations and 30 percent participate
                                                               in education abroad.



                                                               All dollars pledged toward the College are included in the Arts,
                                                               Sciences & Engineering total.

                                                            & APPLIED SCIENCES


                                                             •  Financial aid played an important role in recruiting the
                                                               best and the brightest students. Over the past decade,
                                                               undergraduate classes have more than doubled in size.

                                                             •  Students participated in six different industry road trips,
                                                               thanks to a partnership with the Gwen M. Greene
                                                               Center for Career Education and Connections.
                                                               These help students experience what it may be like to
                                                               work in a specific industry, providing opportunities to
                                                               explore career options, learn about skills and competencies
                                                               needed in various sectors, build networks, and explore
                                                               internship options.

                                                             •  George Eastman Circle members support made it possible
                                                               for students to attend a number of national conferences,
                                                               including the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), the
                                                               National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), the Society
                                                               of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) and the
                                                               Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers (SASE).
