Awareness Displays

Awareness displays are temporary installations in a student life space with the goal of raising awareness around an issue, campaign, or cause. Examples of awareness displays include large fundraising thermometers, interactive questions on poster paper, and temporary art. The content of displays should adhere to the Meliora Vision & Values. Any displays with religious content cannot proselytize.

Expression Wall

The Expression Wall is a 15-foot horizontal wire on the wall of the 3 rd floor hallway in Wilson Commons. The space can accommodate up to five feet of vertical display space. The Expression Wall is the primary location for awareness displays, as it receives high foot traffic and a large amount of interaction. Student organizations can request this space through Activity Registration and departments can submit requests through the Supply & Resource Request Form. This space is not for advertising activities. Opportunities for advertising upcoming activities can be found our advertising page.

These displays cannot exceed two weeks and must have a designated start and end date.
