Why did you choose UR for graduate education?
I chose UR for graduate education for a few reasons. One is because of the large community of visual cognition researchers (center for visual science, department of neuroscience, department of brain and cognitive science all at the U of R). Another is because of the size of the school - not too big, not too small.
What resources or services have you found the most helpful at UR?
I appreciate my departmental graduate resources, including my BCS grad administrators, who have helped me through my program and also helped me submit an NIH fellowship grant.
What are your favorite spots on or off-campus in Rochester?
The GAC will always be my number one place I go to on campus other than work. Right off of campus, I've hung out with other grad students at a few bars including Swiftwater, Beerhead, and the Distillery.
