Lecture Capture—Panopto: Dual Mode Recording
Panopto is a lecture capture platform that enables the recording of audio and video. Some locations can record screen content simultaneously, called Dual Mode Recording.
Dual Mode Recording captures both in-room audio and video as well as screen content simultaneously, integrating video of the instructor with any material displayed on the computer screen. This feature allows for a comprehensive recording of lectures, providing students with a more engaging learning experience by combining the context of the instructor's presentation with the specific visual content being discussed, closely resembling the in-person classroom setting and enhancing comprehension of course material for remote or online learners.
Dual Mode is only available when presenting from the installed Lectern PC. Dual mode cannot be used with any personal device/laptop.
