Why did you choose URochester for graduate education?
URochester matched my research interests and welcomed me with a great sense of community. The city was definitely new to me; I couldn't explain why, but I could already picture calling it my future home as I made the decision.
What resources or services have you felt the most helpful at URochester?
The Teaching Center and the Carlson Library have been great resources; they have given me practical tools and the confidence to grow as a TA, mentor, and student. I have recently discovered the Mindful U Project, and I love how it brings yoga and mindfulness culture together!
What are your favorite spots on or off campus?
The Welles-Brown Room in Rush Rhees Library has my heart, giving a good old vintage and fancy energy while working!
