Why did you choose UR for graduate education?
I chose the University of Rochester for its strong research culture, collaborative community, and advanced facilities that foster interdisciplinary work. Its emphasis on innovation and creating real-world impact perfectly aligns with my academic interests and long-term career goals.
What resources or services have you found the most helpful at UR?
I have found the research seminars organized by my department, the library resources, and the University Health Service especially valuable in supporting both my academic growth and personal well-being. In addition, the professional development programs and career advising offered by the Greene Center have played a key role in preparing me for future opportunities.
What are your favorite spots on or off-campus in Rochester?
On campus, I enjoy the peaceful views along the Genesee Riverway Trail. Off-campus, Highland Park is my go-to spot for a relaxing walk, especially in the spring when the lilacs are in bloom.
