Graduate Student Organizations

There are a variety of graduate level student organizations to join or get involved with, from multicultural to social to advocacy and community engagement focused groups. Graduate students are invited to attend upcoming events and programs hosted by student organizations which can be found in the Campus Community Connection platform or CCC. CCC is the best way to connect with student organizations on campus. Within CCC you can:

  • Join and discover student organizations and events
  • Track your involvement
  • Connect with the University of Rochester community

Connect with actively recognized graduate student organizations in both your own and other University of Rochester graduate schools on CCC .

The Graduate Student Association (GSA)

All full-time SAS and Hajim graduate students are automatically members of the Graduate Student Association (GSA) which is a student-led and student-run organization described below. All SAS and Hajim graduate students are welcome to get involved, run for officer positions, attend the meetings and events they host throughout the year, and reach out to the GSA with any questions or concerns anytime. Please note as of Fall 2024, the GSA is on hiatus. If you have an interest in getting involved with the GSA or other student groups, please contact us at asegepa@rochester.edu.

Mission of the GSA:The GSA represents graduate students in the School of Arts & Sciences and the Hajim School of Engineering & Applied Sciences programs at the University of Rochester. The GSA advocates on behalf of our students to the University's administration, connects students to each other and University resources, and organizes activities that promote personal, academic, and career success during graduate school.
