Graduate School Research and the Advisor-Student Relationship
In graduate school, particularly as a PhD student, you will be expected to engage in high levels of research both independently and as a group. Whether you are working by yourself on research or as part of a lab with several other students your faculty advisor will play a major role in this process. Developing the student-mentor relationship is integral to the PhD experience.
