Themed Dinners

Looking for an exciting way to showcase a student group to the campus community? Plan a theme dinner with Dining Services at Danforth Fresh Food Company or Douglass Dining.

Dining Services loves partnering with student groups to create themed meals and works closely with them to create authentic menus and introduce students to new cuisines. Korean, Middle Eastern, Indian, vegan/vegetarian, "heart healthy" and the Pink/Purple Dinner are just a few of the themes that we have executed alongside campus and student partners. To request a date for a theme dinner and to see the guidelines associated with hosting dinner, complete this online form.

There are two open spots per month for special student theme dinners. These are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Dinners can be held on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday nights. Other days will be considered based on special holiday events or awareness days related to the group so long as the days do not compete with a previously scheduled event.

The menu will be created by the culinary team based on the theme. Suggestions are encouraged but may be altered to fit within budget and production needs.

Please contact Rachel Kehm, director of events and special projects, with any questions.
