How do I win?

First, register to join the competition. You'll get clues to Prize Patrol pop-up events throughout the semester.

Second, complete Dr. Chat Bot every day. Drawings are weekly and monthly and each Dr. Chat Bot completion improves your chance to win. Plus, look out for the pop-up Prize Patrol and other contests throughout the semester.

What are the prizes?

There are over 100 prizes; there are also special prizes exclusive to each school.

Students that complete Dr. Chat Bot daily for the duration of the contest will be entered to win one of our grand prizes -  a free parking space on campus, a free Blue Unlimited Dining Plan, and much more!

FAQ

• Can graduate students participate? If so, which schools?

  Yes! Graduate students are encouraged to participate. Students from the following schools are welcome to participate:

  • Arts, Sciences & Engineering
  • Eastman School of Music
  • School of Nursing
  • Simon Business School

  Only students who are going to be in person on University property at any point during the competition for the Spring 2021 semester are eligible to participate.
• What are some of the prizes?

  Swag and gift cards and iPads - oh my! Some schools have exclusive prizes, so you can view everything that's available on the prize page. Prizes are awarded randomly to winners.

• What is the Prize Patrol?

  Throughout the semester, you'll find our Prize Patrol in public places around campus. These UHS Public Health Ambassadors will be raining prizes down on students that have completed Dr. Chat Bot that day. Make sure to register to receive clues as to where the next Prize Patrol may pop up!

• How do I win the grand prize?

  Larger prizes will be available for students that complete Dr. Chat Bot every day. Every thirty days, a larger prize will be given to a student that completed Dr. Chat Bot every day of the competition.

  Students that complete Dr. Chat Bot every day between February 5, 2021 - May 7, 2021 will automatically be entered for a chance to win one of our grand prizes. Only students that have registered for the contest are eligible so register today!

• Can I win multiple prizes?

  Yes! You can win prizes from weekly drawings an unlimited number of times and you can participate in as many Prize Patrol pop-up events as you'd like. However, monthly prizes and grand prizes are limited to one per student.

• Why should I complete Dr. Chat Bot every day?

  Identifying COVID-19 symptoms is a great way to ensure public health in the Rochester community. Recognizing symptoms early is key to preventing further transmission which is why it is required that students, faculty, and staff self-screen daily, even if you aren't going to be on campus that day!
