Leadership Ambassadors

The leadership ambassadors serve as a connection between the Residence Hall Association and the leadership ambassador’s residential community to make on-campus life ever better. There is one leadership ambassador per residential area (Burton-Crosby-Lovejoy, Hill Court, First-Year Quad, Riverview and Brooks Landing, Jackson Court, Susan B. Anthony, Southside).

Leadership ambassadors responsibilities include:

  • Representing and advocating for student concerns
  • Instilling a sense of unity and promote engagement in the residential community
  • Serving as a community advocate for students by directing them to the right resources
  • Attending mandatory weekly meetings with RHA 

Note: This is a one-year position that requires the completion of an application after which selected candidates will be invited for an interview.

Area Councils

Burton-Crosby-Lovejoy

Mission statement: We aim to engage our upperclass residents in enjoyable programming and build community in our residential halls.

Hill Court

Mission Statement: We aim to improve each Hill Court resident's living experience by any means (within reason).

First-Year Quad

Mission Statement: We aim to go big or go home. We want to make a memorable year for all residents of the First-Year Quad, and we look to make permanent building improvements for the halls.

Riverview and Brooks Landing

Mission Statement: We aim to provide a link between residents and GHRs. We aim to meet the needs of residents while maintaining unity and inclusion. We aim to promote a healthy living atmosphere.

Jackson Court

Mission Statement: We aim to promote the diversity of Jackson Court, with it's many special interest floors and involved residents.

First-Year Hill

Mission Statement: We aim to create a sense of community within First-Year Hill, promote interactions within the residence hall, and foster cooperation between hall representatives. Our council’s relentless pursuit of excellence will motivate us to provide entertaining programs that improve the first-year experience. 

Southside

Mission Statement: We aim to motivate school spirit and hall pride. Our goal is to have more collaboration with groups on campus and to wrap up the year with the best festival that Southside has ever seen.
